About Living is bound to protect the security of our customers’ personal data. We collect this data to provide order updates and distribute marketing. If customers agree to set up an account with us we hold this information to ensure we are able to contact you about your order and advise of any outstanding balances.
You agree that you do not object to us contacting you for any purposes and you do not consider it to breach any of your rights under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations.
If you do wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list simply click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing email and you will be opted out of all email communications. For any more information please contact a member of our customer service team.
To ensure the privacy of your payment details, when you ‘proceed to checkout’, secure pages are indicated by the address on the Address/Location bar changing from http:// to https:// and a padlock in the bottom right hand status bar of your web browser. We do not keep any credit card details on file ourselves. If you choose to save your payment details with us we use a trusted 3rd party who stores them on our behalf, and we are not able to access the full card details.

You have the right to be informed what information we hold, what data we process and what data can be removed from our database. If you would like to withdraw your consent from our mailing list or account holding, please contact us by emailing customerservice@aboutliving.co.uk and we immediately remove anything that you wish. All our newsletters sent via email always have an "unsubscribe" option to ensure that you can update your preferences at any given time.

Copyright extends to the design of the website, all photography and its marketing materials. ORDER CANCELLATION
You can cancel your order up to 12pm on the day of dispatch (except for certain items, which are dispatched direct from the manufacturers).
If you wish to cancel an order you must email our customer service team. If you wish to cancel an order for which you have chosen Next Day Delivery, this must be done before 9am the day following placing the order in order to allow us to cancel the order in sufficient time.
Once your order has been dispatched from our premises, it will not possible to cancel your order and you will be responsible for returning the goods to us if you decide you do not wish them anymore.
ORDER DELIVERY
we cannot accept liability for goods if a customer requests to change the delivery details after the goods have been dispatched, such as - leave in a safe place or leave with a neighbour.
If goods are returned to us due to incorrect address details, the customer will be responsible for any incurred re-delivery charges.
PAYMENT & AVAILABILTY
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information on to the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery.
You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. All products are in stock but if for unforeseen circumstance we are unable to fulfil your order you will be offered an alternative or given a refund for the unavailable item(s).
Prices can be different online than in our store. The store and the website offer different promotions at different times of the year.
