Our suppliers use various delivery methods, which will be detailed in an email following your purchase. Please allow up to 48 hours for our team to contact you. Some suppliers will deliver to ground floors only, while others may ship your order by pallet to ensure its safe arrival. Please note that pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and it will be the customer’s responsibility to move the item inside.

When receiving a delivery, please inspect the items before the delivery driver departs to facilitate easy returns in the rare event of damage. If you are unable to check the goods at the time of delivery, you have 24 hours after signing to report any damages. Claims for damages made after this period will not be accepted.

After you place your order, our customer service team will email you to confirm a suitable delivery date. Deliveries are generally available Monday through Friday. Weekend deliveries can be arranged at an additional cost under special circumstances.

Please ensure you are available to receive your product or provide an alternative delivery address where someone will be present, such as a work address or a relative/neighbour's home. If you are unavailable on the suggested delivery date, inform us promptly, and we will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative.

Failed deliveries that were previously agreed upon will result in re-delivery or cancellation charges. Late cancellations, where the item has already been dispatched to the courier, will incur a charge to return the items to us. Once a delivery slot is confirmed, it is the customer’s responsibility to be available to receive the goods, otherwise, a re-delivery charge will apply.

Please ensure that the items you ordered will fit through doorways, stairwells, and staircases. This includes any tables with tops exceeding 220cm. If you have any doubts, please contact our team prior to delivery for advice. A delivery charge will apply if our team needs to return an item or use more specialist equipment than the standard two-man crew.

Due to the weight and size of some of our products, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any pets and minors are kept out of harm’s way during the installation for safety reasons.

Upon receipt of the goods, it is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the order to ensure it is in good condition. We take full responsibility for any damage found during the inspection upon delivery only.

RETURNS

For items delivered directly from our brand partners, you have 14 days from the delivery date to notify us of your intention to return. If accepted by our returns team, you have an additional 14 days to return the item to the provided address. Returns received after this period will not be refunded.

If you wish to return an item delivered directly from our brand partner, please contact our customer service team at customerservice@aboutliving.co.uk, as our brand partners will not be able to assist you.
